Hand craftsmanship always
Speakeasy Motors, started by Evan Favaro in 2011, believes that every project should begin with quality hand made parts created by a skilled craftsman. When creating our spirits label this same approach is taken. Our whiskey is distilled from 100% New York grown grains and then barreled at a low proof. This traditional method creates a smooth product and allows less water to be added after aging to keep more flavor from the interaction between the whiskey and charred American Oak barrels. After aging, our whiskey is slowly brought down to bottling proof over several weeks, and then hand bottled and labeled by us.

At the tasting room we craft cocktails from house made spirits with seasonality in mind. Most of the herbs and fruits used in our cocktails are grown on our distiller and blender’s own small hobby farm. We will have small production runs of spirits, that will change frequently, and are not available anywhere but in the tasting room for you to try. There is also a selection of New York state craft beers. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Contact us for information on renting the space for private events.
